Privacy Policy

Atlas respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.

Information you provide

Account. When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (handled securely by our authentication provider). You may optionally add a display name and a profile photo.
Your content. The tasks, notes, and journal entries you create, including any mood you log, photos you attach, voice recordings you make, and your focus session history.

How we use it

To provide the app: to save your content and keep it in sync across your devices.
To sign you in and keep your account secure.

We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not build a marketing profile of you.

Voice notes and transcription

If you record a voice note in your journal, the audio is saved with that entry. Transcription uses Apple's Speech framework, on device where available, and the resulting text is stored in your entry.

Photos

If you attach a photo, it is stored with your note or journal entry. Atlas only accesses the specific photos you choose.

Where your data is stored

Your account and content are stored with our backend provider (Supabase) and transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS / TLS).

What we do not do

No ads.
No third-party advertising trackers, and no analytics used for advertising.
We never sell or rent your personal data.

Face ID

You can lock the Journal behind Face ID. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS. Atlas never sees or stores your biometric data.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your content at any time in the app.
You can delete your account and its associated data from Settings in the app.

Children

Atlas is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated date.
